Among all we found that most commonly used items in our daily to daily life are plastics & e-waste items. We realised that plastic are most volumetric items in our life and keep using it continuously and disposed off quickly, then it spreads in and around our surface, river & then ocean.
It then contaminate surrounding soil, seeps into ground water or surrounding water resources and the ecosystem which causes harmful effects on species that drink the water.
Rainwater and wind carries plastic waste into streams and rivers, and through drains. Drains lead to the ocean. Careless and improper waste disposal is also a big contributor polluting the seas/ocean.
